For over 40 years now, Stone Island has been building its reputation as one of fashions leading labels with a very experimental approach to production. The arrival of the Italian labels Mixed Fabric collection further cements Stone Island’s famous approach to fashion.

Fresh off the back of launching their Prototype Research Series 07 in Milan, where THT visited to get a front row view – Stone Island returns with another Spring/Summer 2023 offering, dubbed the “Mix Fabric Hype-TC” collection.

Straight from the Stone Island experimental dyeing laboratories, the Mixed Fabric range has been put together from the usage of several materials such as nylon, cotton, and cupro.

The aim of using a variety of fabrics is to strengthen the weave and material composition of the garments, while also creating unique textures and aesthetics, unlike anything most people will be familiar with.

The collection consists of some classic ready-to-wear pieces, such as anoraks, zip-up pullovers, cargo jackets, T-shirts, and technical trousers.

Keeping to tradition, Stone Island hasn’t been lazy with the colour selection. Shades of Deep Purple, Forest Green, Salmon, Camel and Slate have all received Stone Island’s double-colour recipe dyeing process for maximised vividness.

For anyone wishing to get their hands on Stone Island‘s new Mixed Fabric collection, you can find it right now from the label’s website.
