Fall/Winter 2021 has arrived for the leading Italian label, Stone Island. This season, they have used an earthy colour palette of rust, dark teal, mustard and a rugged fuchsia to decorate a new series of Panama Jackets.
The collection is constructed with a Modified Panama 6/3 weave with twisted yarns. Leather detailing contrasts with the fabric whilst creating extra texture and structure. By using a mixture of fabrics, the brand are able to garment dye each piece, like many signature Stone Island garments, giving each individual jacket its very own look. These unusual colour presentations create a sense of one-off exclusivity for shoppers, as each piece is unique within the collection.
One of our favourite pieces in the collection is the Stone Island Panama 6/3 Ht Nylon Mix Fabrics Down-tc Jacket (which you can shop below). It’s an essential for the colder season and a guaranteed statement piece for your wardrobe. The Down jacket features resin coated Nylon Metal Watro, trilobate nylon and Naslan Light Watro materials. This selection of materials provides a great amount of weather resistance, including wind, and rain, with its water-resistant properties. Features of the down jacket emphasize the technical specialities that Stone Island is renowned for.

If you’re a little sceptical of the brighter colours, pair them with black oversized jeans and white, or matching coloured trainers. If you’re looking to go with the classic Stone Island utilitarian aesthetic, a pair of khaki green cargo trousers will never go out of style.
