The Adidas Superstar has been a staple in everyone’s collections for many years now. The silhouette is back with a brand-new design and collaboration with Sean Wotherspoon. Sean Wotherspoon previously worked on the Nike Air Max 1/ 97 which flew off the shelves, so the same should happen here. The trainers have many eye-catching details but the embroidered flowers along the profiles are definitely the most iconic detail, specifically because they partly drag beyond the sole unit. The tongue and sidewalls, opt for a pitch-dark colourway. Elsewhere, SUPEREARTH and “SW” branding are detailed around the pair. The wild details reflect the patchwork theme of the project, which is inspired by Wotherspoon’s love for upcycling and flea market hunting. To date, all of Wotherspoon’s adidas collaborations have incorporated some form of eco-friendly measure.
The creps are set to release 28th October. Set your alarms!
