The collaborative Nike SB Dunks from the hip-hop duo Run the Jewels was first previewed at the end of last year and fans of both Nike and the rap duo can rejoice as Nike SNKRS have confirmed an official release date for the collab, and it’s a lot closer than you’d think.
Members of Run the Jewels, Killer Mike and EI-P and their upcoming Nike SB Dunk x Run The Jewels pack, offers bold colours and unique design elements within a pair of Dunk lows and highs.
Starting with the low “Deep Royal Blue and Active Pink” rendition, this silhouette is decorated in shades of bright blue that’s placed atop of some sleek suede panels. A pink Nike Swoosh occupies the lateral walls, offering even more contrasting pops of colour.
Finishing off the colourful silhouette is a gold Nike logo which can be found at the heel and on the tongue tab.
It’s high “Active Pink and Black” counterpart has captured the musical duo’s energetic nature through a vibrant pink that decorates the sole and the hairy overlays, unlike the smooth suede of the lower version.
Contrasting black leather can be found positioned on the side panels, toe box and Swoosh details while a golden dubrae at the lower laces finishes off the design with a subtle touch of golden bling.
Both priced at £114.95, the Nike SB Dunk x Run The Jewels “Deep Royal Blue and Active Pink” low and the high version in “Active Pink and Black” both launch from Nike SNKRS on Thursday, April 20 at 8:00am – which is also Killer Mike’s birthday.
