Eights years since their last collaboration for the club’s iconic 2014/15 third kit that was designed by Yamamoto – Real Madrid and Adidas Y-3 have reunited for a celebratory collaborative collection.

Celebrating both Real Madrid’s 120th anniversary and the 20th year of the collaborative partnership between Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas – Real Madrid and Y-3 have come together again for a collection consisting of a variety of on and off the pitch apparel and accessories.

For those that don’t know, Y-3 is an avant-garde sportswear brand and a collaborative fashion label between Adidas and legendary Japanese designer – Yohji Yamamoto.

Yamamoto is known for his avant-garde designs and stand out silhouettes. Their collaboration brings together the high fashion of Yamamoto’s sartorial aesthetics with sportswear brand Adidas.

The new celebratory collection is headlined by an all-black fourth kit with white accents and a pink goalkeeper kit, both for the Real Madrid men’s team. Both kits feature Y-3 branding plus hand-painted stripes, numbers, and names.

Other pieces of the on-pitch collection includes a warm up top, which is complemented by a jacket and joggers – both boasting reflective prints and laser cut details.

Off-pitch pieces feature an all-black t-shirt featuring the Real Madrid crest and the Y-3 logo on the back. Plus a premium elongated scarf and a wash bag – both consisting of a black and white colour scheme.

The campaign is titled “The Ceremony” and features Real Madrid stars like hat-trick hero Karim Benzema, Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, and club icon Iker Casillas.

The Y-3 for Real Madrid collection is expected to be available March 18th through the Adidas store, Y-3 stores and Real Madrid webstores.
