Opening its first factory on British soil in 1982, New Balance‘s presence on the streets of the UK has become a dominant force within recent years and the Boston-based sportswear label are only the next brand on Palace Skateboards list of heavy hitting collabs.

London-based streetwear imprint Palace has been redefining UK streetwear culture since 2009 through its expansive collections of minimal and graphical T-shirts, GORE-TEX outerwear, technical bottoms, accessories and lots more.

Both labels have now teamed up to work together on a collaboration that’s rich in British heritage. The new collection introduces a range of apparel, accessories and footwear, including new iterations of New Balance‘s Made In UK 991 silhouette.

The New Balance MIUK 991 trainers have been given a Palace update and arrive in two new colourways.

The first features a teal ripstop base, purple leather trimmings and tanned suede mudguards and heel counters. Traditional “N” branding can be found on the lateral walls in matching purple and teal while P991 lace dubraes round off the design.

The second version showcases a black, grey, pink and purple colour palette, with a very similar design and approach to colour-blocking as its counterpart.

A variety of essential apparel pieces, inspired by outdoor pursuits is also included. Water-resistant nylon Windbreakers, simplistic T-shirts, technical shorts, headwear and more all arrive boasting matching hues and co-branded signatures.

The new Palace x New Balance SS’23 collection is scheduled to launch online and in-store at Palace on Friday, May 12 at 11:00am.
