Palace have been revolutionising the skateboard/skatewear industry since day one. Their unique, stylish designs, technical details and bold prints have gained them huge recognition, not just in skating, but in the streetwear industry too. Sported by the likes of Blondey McCoy, Jonah Hill, Jay-Z and ASAP Rocky, Palace has developed into becoming one of the most reputable brands on the menswear market.
Recently, the brand released their latest lookbook for Summer 2020. The lookbook, which has been shot by photographer Lewis Khan, features a variety of t-shirts, jackets, long sleeve shirts, shorts, tracksuits, sweatshirts and accessories. Modelled by Lucien Clarke and Rory Milanes, we can see a variety of warm, retro colours and a range of lightweight fabrics. The brand remains original in their design style, not being afraid to take risks, offering a mix of hybrid looks ranging from streetwear influenced pieces to formalwear such as button up shirts. The lookbook teases the entire summer collection, which features a collaboration with Ark Air. Otherwise continuing their range of branded football inspired shirts, the new line also pays homage to Britain’s most popular sport with more vibrant colours and graphics.
The next collection set to release for Summer 2020 follows the brands first release two weeks ago, which again features the fundraising collection in aid of the NHS. The fundraising garments arrive in the form of a hoodie, sweatshirt and t-shirt in crisp white, emblazoned with the classic Tri-ferg design in a bold NHS blue. A variety of light-weight, technical outerwear options highlight the collection, focusing on convenient, packable jackets such as the ‘Das a Wrap’ rain jacket, ‘Lighterr’ shell jacket and a lightly padded ‘Pertex’ jacket, ideal for those cool summer evenings.
T-shirts within the collection come in a variety of styles including crewneck and polo necks. The lineup of tees which dominate the collection include playful variations of Palace’s iconic Tri-ferg logo, and unusual designs of the simple ‘P’ design, including the Jam Fam t-shirt. As the brand becomes more experimental with its silhouettes and design details, we can also see a zip up polo shirt in a knitted fabric, which is finished with ribbed sleeves and hems, available in two different colourways, and three variations of the technical jersey with sporty details.

Tracksuits for Summer 2020 are adorned with heavy graphics with influences from old school tattoo designs such as skulls and roses. Sweatpants are printed with the full ‘PALACE’ logo in different variations running down the leg. The tracksuits are available in a range of more breathable fabrics including nylon mesh alongside the original cotton material, perfect for lounging around in and even working from home!
Alongside the line of apparel, Palace are also delivering a mixture of accessories which include hats, skateboard decks, keychains, bags, smaller leather goods, homeware and jewellery. Hats feature in this collection with fun, innovative design details which include side pockets, ear flaps and rave inspired logos, alongside the classic peaked cap design. Key items within the accessory range include a Tri-ferg keyring in two colourways of gold or silver, a branded roach book, the snake/barbed wire pendant necklace, a skull mug, and an embroidered tote bag.
The drop date for the next instalment of the Palace Summer 2020 collection is May 15th. Dropping at 11am, the collection will be available exclusively from the Palace webstore.
