OVO x Canada Goose

Preparing your wardrobe for those harsh winter months can be a tricky task, finding the balance between something practical but stylish can turn into a stressful dilemma for us all. However, this new drop is certainly part of the solution when it comes to the ongoing search for fashionable outerwear.

Toronto based October’s Very Own have recently released their ninth official collaboration with leading outerwear label, Canada Goose. The OVO brand, representing chart-topper Drake’s very own record label, was founded in 2012, by the rapper and his two long time friends/partners, Oliver El-Khatib and Noah “40” Shebib. The two-piece capsule collection features jackets that cater for men and women, in a vibrant ‘Sunset Orange’ and black colour palette.

The men’s Constable parka, made of a lightweight nylon ripstop material, is filled with quality duck down to keep you cosy over the colder months. The reflective details on the pockets and branding on the chest bring a whole new meaning to functional fashion, detailing also sits on the back with an oversized 3M OVO logo and an enlarged Canada Goose badge which sits upon the sleeve. Finished in an oversized fit, the mid length jacket also features side seam zippers and an interior drawstring on the waist.

The women’s Chilliwack bomber jacket is made of a similar structure which also features reflective detailing and a two-way adjustable down filled hood. The rib knit cuffs and hems allow a softer, malleable feel which fit tighter to the wrists/waist. Both jackets are available in two colours, with the parka pricing at £925 and the bomber jacket at £850.

Pieces are available now at select stores and online at octobersveryown.com, subject to availability.
