Virgil Abloh's First Posthumous Off-White x Nike Collaboration Set To Drop April 8th

Off-White x Nike Blazer Low Finally Set To Drop April 8th

After battling a rare form of cancer, the devasting passing of Virgil Abloh in 2021 left behind a hole that cannot be filled within the world of fashion and surrounding culture.

The creator of Off-White and artistic director of Louis Vuitton, Virgil Abloh left behind a series of resources such as a variety of footwear designs with Nike.

Following this, Nike have announced the very first posthumous Off-White x Nike collaboration, in the form of two pairs of Blazer Lows.

The Off-White x Nike Blazer Lows had previously surfaced in 2021 and will be officially released on April 8th though the Nike store at £124.95 RRP.

They’ve been revealed in two different colour schemes – a white colourway with hits of red and yellow and a black colourway with neon green lacing and heel.

Virgil Abloh’s artistic influence can be seen throughout. With the familiar wide lacing, streamlined structure, Swiss Cheese-like cut-outs on the upper, and a reformed heel that is shaped to a point.

There are still more Off-White x Nike trainers that were designed before Virgil Abloh’s passing, including a pair of Air Force 1 Mids.

Although, as of yet there is no release details of any new Off-White x Nike collaborations other than the Blazer Lows.
