After the initial unveiling of the Nike Air Force 1 x GORE-TEX collaboration for Autumn/Winter 2019, which consisted of two weatherproof AF1 models in a low and high variation, Nike have extended the collection releasing a further four models of the classic silhouette.

All black iterations are available in a low and high-top model. The AF1 High ‘The 10th’ shoe is a heavy-duty sneaker/boot hybrid, fusing together functionality with style to create the ultimate winter staple. Consisting of an all-black upper and inner boot with matching outsole, the hybrid shoe also features a toggle fastening at the rear of the ankle collar to create a more secure, weather resistant fit.

Two more renditions of the shoe will also be released, one in a ‘Dynamic Yellow’ colourway and the second ‘Team Gold’. The ‘Dynamic Yellow’ sneaker is made of a sharp illuminous yellow with contrasting black detailing and stitching. ‘Team Gold’ features a butterscotch leather and mesh upper, with a gum sole creating a more neutral aesthetic. All of the materials in the collection have GORE-TEX adaptations, including specialised GORE-TEX lining to battle the harshest winter conditions.

The customisable zipped boot which features in the high-top iterations allows the wearer to have multiple styling options with a rugged aesthetic. The low top sneakers keep the classic silhouette apparent with layered ballistic leather and full-grain leather. The variety of earthy tones within the collection make these sneakers easy to style, there is something in this collaboration for everyone – it’s a guaranteed sell out.
The collection is set to release on 1st November, at Nike.com and selected stockists online, and will be retailing at £125 per pair (GBP).
