The French translation for eyewear, Moncler Lunette’s new collection stars the popular Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert, in a winter-ready campaign to help round out the year.Â
Known for his eclectic styles as well as his rapping talents, Lil Uzi can be seen sporting balaclava’s and colourful clothing as he boasts the brand new, semi-rimless Moncler eyewear.Â
As seen above, the Italian label’s Fall/Winter 2022 eyewear collection offers a unique shaping of Moncler‘s new frames. Moncler Lunette’s edgy wraparound silhouette of the glasses matches well with Lil Uzi’s unapologetic sense of style.Â
Lil Uzi Vert began his career as a Soundcloud rapper in 2016, along with the rest of the muttering Soundcloud rappers of the time. Although, none of the other artists from this time have quite reached the levels Lil Uzi has. Not only did the North Philly MC survive the spotlight and competition, he’s thrived in it.
It makes sense to bring an artist as influential as Lil Uzi into the world of Moncler. He’s a star who’s always felt more than comfortable in their own skin, a positive message that Moncler has always tried to push to their audience.
