Jordan Brand announces collaboration with PSG
By | September 14, 2018Jordan Brand and Paris have a longstanding relationship that has grown stronger by the decade.
The brand presence in the French capital has grown, thanks to the Quai 54 World Championship and Michael Jordan’s first visit to Paris in 1985.
Jordan Bastille, Jordan’s first European store, opened it’s doors in 2016, with the brand’s partnership with the French Basketball Federation being announced one year later. With this, it comes as no surprise that the brand has decided to curate their first collection with Parisian football club PSG. With Nike’s link to the football club, the collaboration seems like a great fit.
Both brands strive for ambition and have reflected that in their versatile but statement collaboration. The full collection is made up of two pairs of Air Jordan sneakers (the Air Jordan V and Air Jordan I), Nike VSN football cleats, two Jordan Brand x PSG jerseys, and other staple apparel. Presented in clean black and white color-ways with subtle red detailing, the collection is decorated with a unique version of the Paris Saint-Germain crest.
You can shop the Jordan Brand x PSG collection here, with the club debuting the Jordan Brand kit on September 18th.
