It’s been over two years since Adidas signed Jerry Lorenzo and his Fear of God label to a long-term partnership and we’ve now been given our first glimpse of the anticipated trainers and clothing that’s due to arrive soon from the duo.
With Ye in attendance dancing away, the new collection was previewed by Lorenzo himself plus the likes of Pusha T, who also performed. You can take a closer look at the upcoming trainers and clothing in the gallery below.
Featuring a mesh upper, a ribbed fabric decorates the toebox while a futuristic caging system that carves out the 3-Stripes logo decorates the sidewalls.
Finishing off the design is what appears to be elasticated ankle support and both toggle and lace fastenings to promise a secured fit.
Initially joining Adidas in 2020 to lead the brand’s basketball category, it was confirmed last year the partnership with Jerry Lorenzo has been restructured to focus on the Fear of God Athletics line.
The Fear of God x Adidas partnership has been relatively quiet since they signed. However, speculation began last month when a sample version of an apparent unreleased silhouette from the collab surfaced online.
Lorenzo confirmed that the leaked trainers were just a sample that wont be released and that we need to wait for the Hollywood Bowl runway show in Los Angeles to get our first official look.
