Following a series of leaked images unveiling a unique pair of footwear from the anticipated Fear of God x Adidas collaboration, Jerry Lorenzo has made an official statement regarding the leak and an official release date of the upcoming collab.
A Fear of God x Adidas team up has been a hot topic since 2020 and three years later, we’ve finally got our first slice of what to expect from this major fashion collab.
Following the leaked images surfacing, Founder of Fear of God, Jerry Lorenzo informed Complex that: “This is not the basketball sneaker from Fear of God and Adidas.”
He continues to share: “Fear of God x Adidas performance sneakers and ready-to-wear collections will be officially unveiled on April 19 during the Hollywood Bowl showing of Fear of God‘s 8th Collection.”
With Lorenzo confirming the leaked shoes are not the duo’s anticipated basketball shoe, it remains very possible that the footwear will appear as a lifestyle offering from the collaboration.
The collaborative shoes in question sport a mid-cut design in a familiar tan and black upper with a mesh structure to offer ankle support plus a forefoot strap and flat laces.Â
Featuring the Three Stripes branding upon the toe and Fear of God branding at the heel beneath the Adidas Trefoil logo, the silhouette is finished off with Adidas’ Lightstrike foam for extra cushioning and comfort.Â
