Drake is on everyone’s minds with the recent release of his long-anticipated album Certified Lover Boy. And next on his order of business is a collaboration with Nike in a NOCTA golf collection which will consist of golf apparel and accessories. The collection is said to be inspired by his childhood, as he often played golf when he was younger with his uncle. The collection is a ‘testament’ to that, according to a press release. This collaboration combines traditional golf silhouettes with on-the-road comfort – showing how it is not only for golf players.
This release marks the first golf collection from the sub-label NOCTA, which was named after the ‘nocturnal habits’ that Drake occupies during his creative process. Drake and Nike launched NOCTA at the end of 2020 after filming his “Laugh Now Cry Later” music video at Nike’s World Headquarters in Oregon.
“NOCTA is about creating something for people on the move,” Drake said when the brand launched in 2020. “People who want functional, comfortable fits that are adaptable from one environment to the next.”
