White tumbled leather has been applied to the upper while Deep Forest Green and Wolf Grey feature throughout the design – the Deep Forest Green is also a homage to LeBron‘s high school in Ohio.Â
The most noticeable unique feature is the knight chess piece stitched onto the lateral heels, alongside the first initials of the Four Horsemen.Â
Since its initial launch in 1982 as the first basketball trainer to feature Nike Air, the Air Force 1 has since taken a back seat from its basketball roots whilst it’s become a streetwear icon. However, the rich history of the sport remains as a fundamental element of the AF1 and fans of King James will view the upcoming AF1 ‘Four Horsemen’ as a true icon.
