Chelsea F.C. defenders Ben Chilwell and Trevoh Chalobah took each other on during a 20-minute style challenge with celebrity stylist Ellis Ranson.Â
The stars of the Blues were invited to take part in a vintage fashion challenge, ran by Ranson and aimed to spread awareness of sustainable and ethical fashion choices.Â
Ditching the football kits for a more fashionable choice, Chilwell and Chalobah went head-to-head to style themselves using only secondhand clothing and accessories while having only 20 minutes to do so.

The defensive duo had to choose their own outfit, style their hair and finish the challenge off by posing for a photoshoot.Â
After explaining he’s a fan of vintage attire, Chilwell admitted that the most fashionable of the Chelsea squad is either “Kai (haverts). Or (Mateo) Kovacic. Kovacic is pretty clean, simple, fitted trousers.”
Chilwell went on to explain why fashion can be so important for footballers: “We’ve all had a few mad outfits, because we’re footballers and used to club tracksuits. You all wear the same thing so the only time you can express yourself in terms of what you wear is away from football. So you have to go for it.”
Both players dressed to impress, with Chilwell going for a Ralph Lauren rugby shirt in navy and burgundy, matched with some grey denim jeans. While Chalobah opted for a double denim outfit that featured a vintage white T-shirt under a denim jacket.Â
Chalobah eventually won the challenge, beating his teammate as the official winner of Ellis Ranson’s vintage fashion challenge with Chelsea F.C. A 4-minute video of the challenge can be found at the Daily Mail.
