As the winter launches start to roll out, not only have we got our first detailed look at the upcoming AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1s, but an official launch date has also been released at Nike SNRKS.
Based in Tokyo and described by Vogue as “The K-Pop approved streetwear label taking over the world,” AMBUSH are the latest to jump on the 40th anniversary celebrations of Nike’s Air Force 1 and give the iconic silhouette their own rework.
Arriving in “Pine Green & Citron” and “Game Royal & Vivid Sulphur,” take a look at the new vibrant Air Force 1s below.
AMBUSH founder and Creative Director Yoon Ahn, constructed the new Air Force 1 collaborations by incorporating bold hues and colour-popped accents inspired by techno spaces.Â
Added premium leather offers a rich aesthetic full of naturual variations, plus exaggerated bright yellow Nike Swooshes extending past the heels of the trainers truly make this a unique pair of AF1s.
AMBUSH branding can be seen upon the tongue of the trainer and along the heel, below the classic Nike Swoosh logo which all sits atop a matching sole unit that provides the extra cushioning and comfort you’d expect from the AF1.
Both the “Pine Green & Citron” and “Game Royal & Vivid Sulphur” AMBUSH Air Force 1’s are priced at £169.95 and are scheduled to release at Nike on Friday 16 December at 8:00 am.
As usual with Nike SNKRS, no raffle has been opened, this is purely a first come, first served basis so be quick if you want a pair because we all know how quickly exclusive AF1 trainers can sellout.Â
