Adidas Football and Prada have just unveiled their first joint luxury football boot collaborative project, titled “Adidas Football for Prada.”
The new collaboration combines three classic Adidas boot silhouettes with the design codes of Prada, resulting in plusher materials, crafted with meticulous care, and generally more grandeur detailing we’ve come to expect from Prada.
The Adidas Predator Accuracy, the Copa Pure and X Crazyfast boots have been chosen to be reimagined through Prada‘s Linea Rossa lens.
Featuring strong leather outers, Linea Rossa bold red iconography, and clean monochromatic colour bases of black, white and silver Рplayers such as Pedri, Paulo Dybala and Rafael Lẹo have already been seen sporting the new luxury football boots.
FIFA players will also get the opportunity to use a digital version of the boot collection that will be available through an exclusive kit for the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team game. Animated in-game versions of a full kit in either black or white will be available as the Prada and Adidas collaboration is also celebrated in the gaming world.Â
While the worlds of football and luxury fashion haven’t always easily co-existed, in recent years, you could argue the two former polar opposites have recently become more aligned than ever before.
This has changed in the modern game, as we’ve seen luxury beginning to fully embrace football. Stars of the game such as Raheem Sterling and Son Heung-min have been named as Burberry ambassadors, while Trent Alexander-Arnold has become one of the new faces of Bottega Veneta and Kylian Mbappé for Dior.Â
Seen in the gallery above, the Prada x Adidas “Adidas Football for Prada” collection is available to shop from the Adidas CONFIRMED app from Monday, May 22 to Friday, May 25, and also on the official Prada website from May 25.
