Known for his unique vision, patchwork and ageing techniques, Phillip Leyesa has recently blown up on social media, primarily for his trainer customisation skills. His signature involves transforming new trainers and giving them a more vintage feel.
28-years-old and living in Brooklyn, NY, Phillip’s inspiration is heavily drawn from Japanese mending techniques as he demonstrated this while he transforms the Adidas NMD S1 trainers into the perfect city exploring kicks.
Featuring responsive BOOST cushioning and a premium knit upper, PHILLLLLTHY logo can also be seen on the tooling.
Combining a mixture of running technology and head-turning style, these sleek new trainers are offered in the cool colour scheme of Ambient Sky.
