One of the biggest names in UK street culture, Corteiz has just released a cameo-filled short film providing our first glimpse at the anticipated collaboration between the brand and Nike‘s new Air Max 95.
In only five years, Corteiz has come from humble beginnings in West London to being one of the UK’s most talked about streetwear brands. Its Alcatraz prison logo and ‘rules the world’ tagline’ have helped set it apart from the other streetwear brands within this fierce industry.Â
Founder of Corteiz, who most of us know as Clint419, has evolved his brand into an independent and fierce voice that cuts through the voice of all of the well established streetwear brands we’ve been introduced to over the years.
Corteiz first teased its new partnership with Nike when the Corteiz logo was projected onto Nike’s London flagship store in Oxford Street in January. Nike confirmed that they’ve never approved so much creative control as it has to Corteiz, in terms of marketing and design for the collab.Â
An example of some authentic Corteiz marketing arrives looking like a short campaign film to promote their upcoming Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 release.
The film features a variety of different shots and cameos from people such as Phil Foden, Jorja Smith, Fonejacker and even an appearance from the Corteiz founder himself.
Directed by Walid Labri, the videos opens up with news stations from around the world presenting breaking news that production of the collaborative 95s has been put on pause and there are only 100 finished pairs that exist.
What happens next is utter chaos as the stock market crashes, fights break out in the streets, and an auction is held where a pair of the collaborative 95s are sold for £110,000.

Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden, could be seen recreating the classic crossbar challenge ad from Nike that went viral in 2005 and featured Brazilian legend Ronaldinho.Â
This is something that the Corteiz family clearly enjoy doing as only a week ago, Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, posted on his Instagram (seen above) another cross bar challenge where the winner apparently wins a pair of the Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95.
The green colourway will officially launch from the Corteiz website on Friday, March 10 at 7:00pm. Nike haven’t confirmed anything yet, but a global release is likely to come at a later date.Â
