Founded in 2011 by two brothers who casually designed T-shirts in their spare time, luxury British streetwear label Represent have just launched their Pre-SS23 collection on their namesake website.
You might of spotted Represent being repped by celebrities such as 21 Savage, Justin Bieber, or from their collaborative capsule with Machine Gun Kelly that sold out in a matter of minutes.
Their introduction to the Spring/Summer 2023 season includes a sophisticated collection of sleek and modern jackets, coats, jumpers, footwear, bags, hats and trousers.
Co-founded by George and Mike Heaton 11 years ago, Represent have showcased hues of tar black at the forefront of their new and rather small collection.
The standout items for me has to be the new varsity jackets, which are a part of their new Owners’ Club pieces. These Owners’ Club varsity jackets are offered to us in both black and maroon.
I’m also a big fan of their detailed trackpants with the matching jacket, sling bag and scarf. This whole fit is one of the hardest all-black outfits I’ve seen, but I can’t say it’s something I’d consider for a warm summers day.
Their latest footwear item is called “The Ascender” and features a sleek winter boot with trainer-like elements, coming in both brown and black. The chunky boots are crafted from nylon and suede while incorporating a hiker style.
All of Represent‘s items are crafted in England, between the cities of London and Birmingham.
There’s no denying that Represent have skyrocketed in recent years, this is down to their expert craftmanship, iconic modern looks, and easy/comfortable apparel items.
